The philosophy of Francesco Profili is to create exclusive ad unique works, hand-crafted using artisanal methods.

The works take place in a traditional, family-run Italian carpentry shop, where the quality of the materials, attention to detail and the technical skill excel.
The resulting products are work of arts which respect the highest standard of the Made in Italy concept.

Our aim is to create timeless, awe-inspiring pieces, with a modern design. Our clients have refined taste and want to impress their guests. We create unique works to elevate their prestige and the elegance of their living and working space.

We strive to employ materials of the highest quality: the process with which we chose them is accurate and in-depth, and it’s what enables us to stand out from our competition.

The biography
of Francesco Profili

The inspirations and artistic creativity of Francesco Profili have an almost genetic nature, they were born and developed in the family-run carpentry shop, where he breathed the wood-working and absorbed the secret experiences and tricks of the masters, his father and grand-father. An innate practicality and a privileged viewpoint on the matter that takes form, makes him create his first (much needed) objects: a desk and the furniture for his work.

This is his first foray in the profession, continued in his school formation in the artistic lyceum section of Arte, Architettura e Arredamento. Many personal travels and many creative contaminations help shape its vision and its personal concept of design.

The philosophy of Francesco Profili and of its work is crafted by this conceptual and more importantly practical experience, and is pursued in the research of high-quality, authentic fine materials: create objects to impress, take the breath away.

The concept of hand crafted works, the summit of an artisan craftsmanship, marry the highest standards of the Made in Italy Concept. He was selected for the International & Design Awards thanks to its “Across the Universe” table. The table is created for clients with a refined taste, that seek to shape their living space with elegance and prestige.

Quality and design, aesthetics and functionality, innovation and the artisanal culture: the founding concepts of a life work that seek to distinguish itself and remain timeless, crafted by Francesco Profili.

The Golden Age - Double Bed

Description:

The bed is composed by the harmonious combination of the slabs of wood, which create a natural and unique product.

Without doubt the defining element of this work is the nightstand, integrated in the headboard. The continuity is majestic and sculture-like.

Materials:

Bed made entirely of solid walnut.
Support in lacquered iron, brass, bronze.

Think twice - Fashion Cabinet

Description:

The detail-rich cabinet inherits the lines of the collection, developing them in the vertical plane. Fine materials like wood, marble, leather and glass make it an unique and perfect fit for a living room, office, bedroom or a luxurious hotel room.

The doors are made of Walnut, the central compartment is composed by a Noir Saint Lauren marble in the back, and shelves of dark glass. The shelves in the rest of the piece are made of hand-sewn testa di moro leather, boxed by heavily brushed ash wood.

Every shelf is equipped with LED lights, which are triggered by the opening of the cabinet doors via a motion sensor.

Materials:

External and internal structure: Matt lacquered. Doors: Walnut. Central part: Noir Saint Laurent marble and glass shelves. Side parts: Drawers and backs in black ash, shelves in black ash with leather insert and LED light under each.

Other way - Fashion Driver

Description:

Thanks to the rhythmic juxtaposition of a drawer and a container, the cabinet is unique in its class, it transforms every space it inhabits thanks to the fine and natural lines.

The majestic front panels are made of solid wood, and the two drawers are made of walnut veneer, a perfect equilibrium between stone, lacquered wood and walnut. The integrated lighting gifts a theatrical-like beauty, which makes it versatile and a perfect fit for many spaces, from the bedroom to the living room, from an office to a restaurant.

External structure: Material surface, stone effect. Internal structure: Matt lacquered. Doors drawers: Walnut. Drawers: Walnut Lighting: Integrated LED lights with touch switch integrated into the surface (invisible).

Blackbird - Luxury Cabinet

Description:

The cabinet fully reflects the collection core concepts. The essence and nobility of the wood is married with the lacquered look, creating a perfect mix between the modern and the natural.

The piece is composed of two elements, both originating from the same walnut slab, which is cut by hand.

The luxurious drawers are made of veneered wood, and are lighten up by a motion sensitive LED light.

External and internal structure: Matt lacquered. Fronts: Walnut. Drawers: Walnut veneered blockboard. Lighting: Integrated LED lights on each drawer, ignition with motion sensor.

A day in the life - Fashion Table

Description:

It is the synthesis between quality and beauty of the materials.

The table is made up by two parts in solid walnut joined by an elegant resin casting. The resin is backlit, perfect for creating a unique, romantic and suggestive feel inside the room, as the central part of the table becomes a source of illumination.

The base, characterised by clean and essential geometries, can be crafted in multiple finishes, such as iron or brass.

The table’s exclusive and refined design brings out the characteristics of the wood, which combined with the delicacy of light, create a sculptural and artistic piece that makes it perfect for furnishing the most refined environments.

Top: Walnut. Base: Iron, brass. Resin: Colored epoxy resin. Lighting: LED lights under the resin, with an hidden switch.

Take me home - Versatile System

Description:

A versatile system for the living area, based on the possibility of personalizing and assembling the most suitable composition starting from our clients’ needs.

The system consists of vertical columns, formed by a walnut door and by stone-finished horizontal drawers.

The combination of natural elements, rich in value and elegance, allows the client to interpret the functionality of the most sought-after living rooms with style.

Doors: solid walnut (Walnut) or veneered. Box: Stone effect. Chest of drawers: Stone effect. Chest of drawers top: Stone effect. Throat: Canalnut (Walnut).

Cloud - Fashion Desk

Description:

Linear, sinuous and essential desk, made in curved wood with an opaque lacquered finish.

The desk includes two inner drawers that, when closed, are hidden thanks to the decorative milling on their border.

Structure: Multilayer and MDF.
Finish: Opaque lacquer.

Exercice rouge - Designer Chair

Description:

Form and color are combined in an unique design vision.

An involved artisanal production method, which avoids the use of junctures, realises a chair with minimal and sleek lines.

Limbo - Fashion Bed

Description:

A clean and pure bed with a strong oak structure and slats, it marries naturally with a soft and delicate curved design, which is finished in white lacquer.

Its pleasant form and chromatic contrast make it stand out in every ambience.

Base structure: Opaque lacquer MDF.
Bed frame: Oak.

Across the universe - Luxury Table

Description:

The elegance of a simple form, the natural richness of the wood, the magic of light.

The table conveys and unique atmosphere, thanks to its integrated LED lights which filter through the natural crevices of the wood.

Usually a table is crafted with its wood grain on the long side, but in this case we preferred to highlight the natural features of the wood in an unexpected manner - this creates an unique and uncommon view of the material.

The rings of the wood may be seen as planets, and the light shining through the wood the stars, hence the name Across the universe.

Materials:

Structure: Solid wood and resin.
Illumination: LED lights below the resins, with an hidden switch.
